We decide to add "Movie Monday's" to our curriculum. There are a lot of great movies out there and can be beneficial to see a picture to the book that has been read. However, most times the book really is better than the movie, but why not have a nice way to start the week with a movie and on a Monday when some kids like mine struggle on Monday's. Listed below are a few movies that we decided on watching, with notebook page on what they thought about the movie, but very similar to a book report. There are notebook pages for movies available at notebooking fairy as well.

The adventures of huckleberry finn

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

Doctor Dolittle

Fried green tomatoes

The man in the iron mask

What’s eating gilbert grape

The secret garden

A river runs through it

The princess bride

Ann of green gables

Treasure buddies

The jungle book

Sounds of music

Wizard of Oz

Winged Migration

Sandlot
