The New York Historical Society Museum & Library is great vacation or a field trip because there's so much to do. This can be fun and a learning experience all in one. The Cross-Stitch Circle is an old fashion embroidery session. If your into Cross-Stitching, then this would be great for you to learn a new way to Cross-Stitch. For the little people, there's Little New Yorker's, includes a song, story, historic toys, craft project, and free exploration. For the artist in the family, there's Artists Detectives, include look, imagine, draw and create it. So, you see there's plenty to do for all to enjoy from 4-13 years of age. If you are really into history and want to become a member and visit more often, The New York Historical Society Museum & Library has made that possible as well. The membership is $150 with $125 tax deductible. The membership includes free admission to The New York Historical Society Museum & Library, DiMenna Children't History Museum for a family of two adults and all children in the same household, one complimentary family ticket to any family program of your choice, invitation to the Thanksgiving Eve event, Grandparent's Day Festival, selected Family Programs throughout the year, and opportunity to host your birthday party inside the DiMenna Children's History Museum.
