Rubber Egg Experiment

This is a lot of fun! My younger children laughed and my older children kept saying it’s going to crack. So, we turned this into a measuring game. We used a ruler to see when the egg will crack. We tried to snap a picture, but that didn't work very well. However, we did make it past a foot. We didn't have a yard stick to keep up with measurements after the foot. They still were excited to see the increase as we bounced our rubber egg.

The video will show you step by step instructions on how to make this experiment. This video states 24 hours, but we've seen other instructions recommend for 48 hours. We did ours for 24 hours and it still bounced just as good.

Next experiment will be a chicken bone!!!
