We had the opportunity to review a few materials from Leadership Garden Legacy. These materials can be found on two level, U.N.I.Q.U.E. KIDS Growing My Leadership Garden and U.N.I.Q.U.E. Growing the Leadership Within. Leadership Garden Legacy is recommended for children ranging from 5-12 years old.

We worked in two groups because of the age difference and the Leadership Garden Legacy levels. In the first group, I would read U.N.I.Q.U.E. Kids to my younger children that are 5,6, and 7 years old. I know that the program recommends 8-12, but no reason not start leadership early. My 7 year old worked through the Journal.

In the second group, my 10 year old read Growing the Leadership Within following along with the downloadable audio files. This was convenient because while I was working with my younger children he was able to complete his reading assignment as well. Then he would complete his lessons in The Leadership Garden Guidebook.

After they all completed the reading assignments, we joined at the table to complete the journal, guidebook and my younger ones would draw about something they learned from the reading lesson. Often times we did the activities together as a group to reinforce what was being taught. This was great because they each had a separate lesson based on their level, but still the same lesson learned.
