Making Pancakes

I love making pancakes with different shapes or flavors. My children enjoy them just as much as I do. I was excited to see that my daughter decided to join me in the love for pancakes. She approached me with a smile. She stood for a moment and then asked if she could help. Well, of course I let her help me mix, pour, and flip. She had a blast and smiled the whole way.

We've made blueberry, chocolate swirl, chocolate chip, strawberry, peach, and cinnamon pancakes. These are not hard to make and the kiddies love them. This would be a great experiment to do with your children and see which one scores the best in your family.

Blueberry pancakes can be bought premixed and just add water. Our version is not using this method. We make our own with a similar method of pancake mix and water, but using fresh berries. Chocolate swirl is the same, but with chocolate syrup being poured in a spiral after spreading pancake mix on the griddle. Chocolate chip is the same as well, with them being sprinkle over the top and pressed down until cover in the mix. Strawberry and peach pancakes are chopped up very fine and sprinkled over the top. Cinnamon pancakes are the easiest next to plain because all your doing is adding to the mix before spreading it onto the griddle. These are not hard to make and the kiddies love them. This would be a great experiment to do with your children and see which one scores the best in your family.
