We bought our sewing machine from JoAnn Fabrics. It had price tag of $179.99 and marked down from $499.99. Now that's a great and made me a happy camper. This also came with an upgrade plan and two free sewing classes.
The upgrade plan is if we would like to upgrade our sewing machine and they will take off a certain amount towards your upgraded sewing machine. I was amazed by that because I may take advantage of that. The best upgrade deal is within the first 90 days. They will take the full $179.99 off the price of the one we choose to upgrade with.
I think with my children enjoying sewing, it wouldn't be a bad idea. We would need one that will give us the maximum hours to sew our projects.
