We made yummy crackers today. My younger children enjoyed getting their hands messy. As always, what kid doesn't, right?
We had to make some accommodations However, there wasn't a whole lot to change. Whatever works to accomplish the same goal is good for me.
Items needed to make this snack:
If you would like to double the recipe, it would be as follow:
I have 5 children and each of them add more ingredients, such as pepper, basil, and garlic. If you would like to add any of these extras, it would be 1 teaspoons of these additional ingredients. I hope you will try our recipe. If you do please feel free to share your comments below.
- measuring cup
- large bowl
- serving spoon
- cookie sheet
- cooking spray
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of flour
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 cup of parmessan cheese
- 1/3 cup of water
To begin making the Parmesan Cheese crackers, you need to preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Then in your large bowl add all of your ingredients, salt, butter, Parmesan Cheese, and water. You will then either stir with a serving spoon or have your children wash their hands and mix it together. It should be formed into a ball. After it has been formed, set it on the counter and roll it flat. Depending on how thin you want your crackers, you will need to roll it out longer. After you roll it to your liking, then place it on the cookie sheet. Then cut them to shape. This is the fun part because you can shape them t any size and/or shape. Then place the oven for about 15-20 minutes or until crisp.
