Flower Pots

I have recently been writing about my deals that I find as I'm shopping. This particular deal was found at Wal-Mart about a week or two ago. I knew I wanted to do something with this Dry-Clay, but unsure at the time. Well after doing the gardening yesterday, I thought about planting ordinary flowers.

My children had a little fun with the clay before creating their flower pots. This clay caused their hands to get the die on them. So, I pulled out our plastic gloves to keep them from getting to much die on their hands.

However, my youngest son had another agenda. He decided it was more fun to make tracks with his toy car.  He's in his own little world at times and brings a smile to my face. I mean seriously, that does look more fun than making flower pots for a boy.

They turned out pretty well, but I think we really needed a scraper to help with the sides to make them flat. Still, even with that being said, I'm happy with them because my children made them.

    1. Thank you Tiffany for reading our blog! I agree, it really does teach them a lot. My 11 year old is really into gardening. Now that we've moved to country, he's excited to plant a bunch things next year. His list of things are on our website http://www.homeschoolmamma.com/O_Marrah_Family_Farm.html
