Dinosaur Audio Books

My daughter could sit in my room all day on our tape player. I originally purchased the cassette player for our Hooked on Phonics lesson, but she discovered audio books at the library. She was in my room for hours with the audio books for our dinosaur theme.

Digging for Dinosaurs

This was a yummy treat and fun to find a mini dinosaur in the bottom of the treat. However, you would need to make sure your children understand that they will need to take small bits. You don’t want to end up in the emergency room for choking. You also don’t want to be at the dentist office for a cracked tooth.

Dinosaur Copywork

As we learn about our dinosaurs, I thought it would be nice to learn how to spell the names. This laminated dinosaur copywork page will help my children learn to spell these names. I made this page available to you as well. I hope you enjoy this as much as we do.

Dinosaur Alphabet

We watched Dinosaur Train a few days ago. This episode was about learning the alphabets through the various dinosaur names. I thought it would be a nice addition to our study. So, I made a basic worksheet to record these dinosaur names in Alphabetical order

I found the book called, “An Alphabet of Dinosaurs by Peter Dodson.” This was a good find at my local library. I always recommend checking your local library for all your books before you buy. This will save you some money, but not time because it can take a little extra time to locate them on the shelves. The extra time is only if they are misplaced on the shelves. It’s well worth the time to save a few dollars.
